IoT SIM

Can I use this SIM in every device?

Yes, the SIM is compatible with all devices and sensors with a SIM card slot. The SIM is a 3:1 SIM and thus support 2FF (nano), 3FF (micro) and 4FF (mini).

How do I activate my SIM cards?

Log-into the portal. Create an account if you don't have one yet. Then navigate to 'SIMs' in the menu and use the '+' button to add the ICCID's of your SIMs. Every SIMs ICCID is unique to the SIM can can be found on the physical SIM.

Do I need to set an APN?

Yes, every device needs to be configured to an APN that will be provided to you by your device vendor.

Where can my SIM roam?

Check the 'Zones' page to learn more about the different geographical zones. If in doubt, check with your vendor's product description to find out which zones the SIM is configured to.

Can I use eSIM?

Yes, all SIMs can be used as eSIMs.

Where can I find my connectivity costs?

In the portal you find more information on your prepaid bundle or the data/SMS pricing of your IoT Wallet. Simply click on the SIM to see what kind of prepaid plan it is attached to.

How can I see my usage?

In the 'SIM' menu, you can click on SIMs and see their usage. In the dashboard there is a general overview of your SIMs combined usage.

My SIM doesn't work yet, what can I do?

Before contacting your vendor, make sure to check that (1) roaming is enabled for your device, (2) that you have set the APN correctly and (3) that your SIM is configured to work in the country you are in. In the portal you can see whether your SIM has successfully established a connection and used data. You can also try rebooting the device and check if it works in a different device or mobile phone.

Where can I get support for my connectivity?

Your hardware vendor can help you with any questions and issues regarding connectivity support.

Prepaid Bundles

How do I top-up my SIM card?

Navigate to 'SIMs', select the SIM, click on the refill button and then select your prepaid bundle of choice.

Is auto-refill possible? How does it work?

Yes, for every SIM you can enable or disable auto-refill. It will refill automatically if a certain threshold in terms of remaining data (30% of your bundle) or days is reached. The threshold value is specified in the details.

Wallet

What is an IoT Wallet?

If your SIM is tied to an IoT Wallet, then it will work as a pay-as-you-go SIM that deducts wallet credit based on real-time data and SMS usage. As long as there is credit, the SIM can roam and will only be charged for what it uses, as opposed to being tied to a bundle. All SIMs are pooled and thus work with the same wallet.

How do I top-up my wallet?

In the header menu on the right, you can see your wallet balance. If you click on it you see the option to refill your wallet. You can also see your cost statistics and transactions.

Is auto-refill possible? How does it work?

Yes, if you click on the wallet credit in the header menu, you can enable auto-refill and set thresholds.
